All the Leafs forwards are incapable of accepting a pass (in their own zone near the blueline) along the boards. Connor Brown is one of the worst. Marleau is bad too. All of them. Marner just turned it over and they almost scored. And I'm not counting the ton of bad passes from the Leafs D-men. Marincin is an awful passer. So it Zeits.

I assume Calgary is cheating somewhere to jump all of our stretch passes, but I haven't seen us exploit an opening.

A couple observations...
1. Toronto plays like **** at home. They can't score and don't compete hard at home, IMO
2. They get outworked considerably by ****ty, scrappy, teams. The Ottawa games and this game are primes examples. Toronto has significant talent advantages over these teams but they're soft and their skill gets suffocated because they don't match their intensity.
Long season and it's obviously a big difference without Matthews and Nylander, but man do they get out worked.

I don't care about their loser rookies that aren't as good as Marner or Matthews and I want them to go away.
I work hard all day and I just want to come home and hear about Leaf hockey.

The first one was much worse on a bad pass to Marner and it's not that it would have made a difference with 10 seconds left anyways, but it was still a **** pass. I'll give him a break on the 2nd one, but the first one was crap. He's Toronto's #1 defenseman. Guys like Letang, Hedman, Doughty, Weber, Subban, etc, etc get held a really high standard. No reason Reilly shouldn't.
