Misery is a strong word. When I think misery, I think living in extreme poverty or being oppressed by a crazy psychopath dictator where I could die at any time. Some perspective is needed; it's a game that none of us play professionally where we simply want our favorite team to win so we can have a warm fuzzy feeling in our heart and feel happy. Hardly ''misery'', and if it is you have other issues in your life.
But I agree, it sucks the team has been mediocre/terrible for 1/4 of a century outside of a couple seasons.
But it's our curse. Some teams are simply cursed to never live up to expectations. The Flames are one of them.
