He is an elite offensive player, anyone expecting a 200 foot game is being unrealistic, some players are pure offense.

Whether green text or not, taking people's opinion and grouping it with the alt opinion of 'yeah, trade the bums!' has been one of the biggest deflators around here lately (the awful play of the team in question being #1).
It's been tough to watch but it's been even tougher to talk about it. Unless you come in here with optimistic rainbows, your opinion is considered hyperbole or sour grapes. I actually got called out for not praising a Smith save enroute to a 9-1 loss...
But the kids production has been impressive to watch. As with the season, the games that have gone well have gone very well. What I loved seeing the most, oddly, was Johnny finally abandoning a failed deke at the blueline before he got creamed. Whether it's Johnny on his own, or Peters adjusting his message, it was good to see. His awesome production only matters if he's playing!
Lost in the mire of this season really has been Bennett. He's not making waves outside this organization yet, but when this team starts clicking he looks like he's ready to go. Definitely the year a lot of us have been excitedly awaiting.
