Bishop's 4-3 and was a free agent signing, not a trade, so the goalie chose where to go.
Tre did acquire a starting goalie - who was an all star last year.
If Tre had had the #30 pick in that draft, then Andersen would be a Flame not a laff.
Goalies are just as much of a crapshoot as the draft.

No Bishop was acquired via trade and then signed an extension with the stars before going UFA.
Schneider was aquired via trade by the Devils.
Sure it’d be nice to develop a goalie but our history suggests otherwise and there’s not much in the pipeline. Doesn’t look like Gillies is the guy. Parsons is still very young but not overly promising, and also a long ways away.
