I thought so on the initial viewing as well, but in slow mo it looks like Reimer sticks his blocker straight out to make the save, while at the very top of his crease, and initiates contact to a player in white ice.
Hard to argue it stopped him making the save (with the way he played it). But it's also the skaters right to be in the white ice and not be called for interference. If that happens in the blue paint or if the skater goes into Reimer it's called back. As it happened, I think they actually got it right with no interference.
