The Motor Dealers Association of Alberta also wrote a letter pledging $100,000 to Shaping Alberta’s Future, a PAC (political action committee) with the sole declared purpose of getting Kenney elected, and said it hopes to raise $1 million for the cause before the next election.

The letter states Kenney’s UCP government would address the association’s concerns, including scrapping the provincial carbon tax, rolling back corporate taxes, freezing minimum wages and cancelling recent labour code legislation.

I wonder how the employees feel about their employers making contributions to a party who’s main platforms include repealing their rights.
