I hate how inconsistent amazon is. They offered me $5, and I asked for the same thing you did and they said a customer rep can only issue $15. So frustrating to deal with sometimes, and other times it's a piece of cake!
Edit: After a bit more persuading they gave me $15 credit and agreed to send another $15 but had to escalate the ticket. However, they did not cancel my original order.
