Congrats Captain. Good on you. I really appreciate the effort you put into documenting your process. It is very consistent with the advice I have been given.
Working at home is wonderful but the one major landmine to look out for is the interpersonal relationships at your company. You have to be very diligent in fostering those relationships as you can turn into a mushroom really fast. Get out to see your supervisors and other superiors at every chance. Make an effort to maintain a dialogue with them. It is too easy for them to develop an out of sight out of mind attitude and then they just assume you are not performing. Be your own best advocate.
