Disgusting, vomit inducing, terrible, garbage.


Honestly I've watched the Flames since they came to Calgary, and I've seen them get their faces kicked in. I remember a 12-4 loss to Detroit before Detroit was good, a blow out by the Whalers. I thought I'd seen it all. But never have I ever seen such a shameful display in front of their home town fans.


There's a point of pride of being the home team. Its your rink its your fans. To go out and lay a stinker like this is just . . . BS.


I've been concerned over the last few games. I haven't been all that impressed with the effort level away from the puck.


Maybe this team decided they were all that with a box of crackers, I don't know. But to me, these players need to go home in their expensive cars, to their expensive houses and find the biggest most expensive mirror that they own and take a good hard look at them.


To me this is a far more talented team then last year, but the old saying is that hard work will beat talent when talent doesn't work hard.


The big thing is this, if this team comes out and against the Stanley Cup Champions and puts in a end to end redemptive effort then fine, I have my doubts until they prove it to me as a fan. But if they come out and lay out a stinker, I don't know where they go from here.



But over the last 3 games its just not working.
