Paid good money to watch that trip to turd town with my own eyes. What really, really, really, drove me nuts is that the Flames actually produced a lot of good scoring chances BUT THEY JUST CAN"T PULL THE TRIGGER!

The theme for the whole debacle was set when Neal hesitated for 600 hours before trying to shoot into a once-gaping cage on a beautiful cross-crease pass, Murray got across to make to the save. After that, it was all whiffs, extra passes, more hesitations, and missing the net.

The way the Flames gave up the third goal to the Penguins was particularly infuriating. Two, TWO, Flames just skate backward until whoever it was for Pens is right there in prime territory in the slot. Garbage. Absolute Garbage. Edit: it was Rust backing up Hamonic and Hanifin.

Aside, Kessel was great.
