I think you're missing the point. This is a golden opportunity. The game was embarrassing. Full stop. Every player in that dressing room should feel bad. Embarrassed. Literally every player save Dube and Andersson quit on the game. Gio quit. Monahan quit. Tkachuk quit. Backlund quit. They quite on their goalie, on their teammates. They ####ing losers. HOw many fights? How many big hits?
The team - collectively - will never be as open to Peters' message as they will be this evening and tomorrow. If he wants to hammer home his message, this will be his best opportunity.
