I don't doubt that he'll take that shot. Every football player in the States wants that shot at the NFL.
I have my doubts about his ability to crack an NHL lineup. His arm strength is ok but not great, he's not a tall QB, and not all that mobile.
But why not take the shot at getting paid in US dollars as a backup and trying to get that NFL pension.
I don't doubt that there is going to be a mass changing of the guard in the CFL as far as QB's go. I doubt Reilly resigns with Edmonton.
