A good example is that one timer he let go on that long rebound that came back to the point on his off side by the boards.
He couldn't be further from the net. Terrible decision.
The shot has to come with movement or a modern NHL goalie isn't going to get beat.
If it comes to him and he looks around, the shot option is no longer there.
Possession on the powerplay is hard enough to acquire without just giving it up on small chance plays.
