Yeah, having the right PSI might have saved me yesterday. The day before when I checked my pressure I was down to about 55 pounds. 65 is about ideal, and my tires recommend 60-85. I put them both up to 75. I blew the tire hitting one of the stupid roots on that canal pathway, and if I had a lower pressure it may not have blown.
I'm a bigger guy, so finding that sweet spot would be helpful. I love how much easier it is to pedal when I'm at higher pressure.
