Depends on your weight. You should have 15% squish in yout tire for otimal performance. We have a chart at work that is weight / width of tireand rim combo/ tpi for perfect air pressure based on rider.

100 psi is still pretty low as alot of non tubular tires frequently have max pressure for 120 -140 psi. .

Yhen not only does tpi play in pressure but rather or not you have tan side walls. Tan sidewalls have more play than a black wall so you can run pressure a tad hiber .

Its a science.
