- Moved the puck cleanly all night, zero giveaways
- controlled the front of the net
- logged 2:39 PK time without a PPGA,
- Led the team with an off-the-charts 87.50% expected goals percentage
No, but he was also not bad. There's a difference. He's getting Troy Brouwer comparisions... Troy Brouwer was flat out bad. Neal has been more snakebitten than anything. He directed five unblocked shot attempts past the Habs D (led the FLames) and did plenty right.

Hanafin gives the Flames the “best chance to win”?

Hanifin is still the third best D-man on this team. Pressboxing him is idiotic. So yes, he gives us the best chance to win.
The musical chairs at 3C is not getting us anywhere. The two-way play Bennett gave us at center in 2016-17 through to playoffs was better than anything the other three guys (Dube, Ryan, Jankowski) have shown at any point in their careers. If Bennett had a right winger that year instead of Troy Brouwer/Alex Chiasson this wouldn't even be a topic of discussion. He's the best choice as the 3C and allows a guy like Dube to slide in on the wing with less responsibility.
