2nd-How old is YOUR DVD player? It's possible your just dosen't have the software to recognize the format you are using to burn the images to CD.
I'm assuming your are burning this images in a .jpeg format?

Well the reason i used CD-R is because when i use to burn music CD-RW would never play in stereo or car system because the disk is not of same quality as a CD-r (so i was told/read) but i think it's different now..as most modern stereos etc will play both types.
DVD player was bought in 2002.
Yes images are in .jpg.
I didnt use any burning software, just the little "write files to cd" in top left corner of folder when i copy/pasted the images to the disk....so maybe i need to specify an image cd in some sort of writing software?
thanks for the help/reply.
