I have not done this myself but I MAY be able to help. First off, the choice between discs. CD-R vs CD-RW. I think the only difference is one you use once while the other (the CD-RW) could be written to again.

2nd-How old is YOUR DVD player? It's possible yours just dosen't have the software to recognize the format you are using to burn the images to CD. Any newer DVD player should be able to read your CD while an older (or possibly cheaper model) may not.

I'm assuming you are burning the images to CD in a .jpp format?
