We all know that Messier has been biding his time eating chips and glaring angrily at Chia because he's an outsider and not an Oiler.
At some point, Messier will be named the interim Oilers GM to be made permanently later, he'll rely on Mac-T for his hockey knowledge and on Lowe for his knowledge of winning.
Then they'll fire T-Mac, Gully will move into a co-coaching role with Mac-T because first of all they can't have a bench without a hyphenated nicknamed coach, and also because Mac-T will have to teach Gully how to coach the Oilyaz way.
