The Benn pick was traded to Columbus for Adam McQuaid. Columbus then traded it to Dallas with a couple other 5th Rounders for a 4th Rounder they used to take Maxim Mayorov.
The Rackell pick was traded with a conditional 2nd and Joe Colborne for Tomas Kaberle (the Leafs then used it with a 2nd to trade up to take Tyler Biggs).
The Brodie pick was traded on the condition that Brad Stuart wouldn’t re-sign with the Flames when he was traded with Wayne Primeau for Andrew Ference and Chuck Kobasew. That pick was originally acquired from Washington in exchange for Milan Jurcina.
Yeah, there’s enough ammo to not need to include these. Especially when they’re all twice removed from their original owners.
