One of my soccer games when I was 11 was on one of those saturday afternoon TV CTV's, it was a provincials game. Too bad we got smoked 10-0 by Edmonton. I had a basketball game that was on a sports channel on a weekday afternoon too; I guess that's how they fill the day slots, either that or darts.
I did a big project in high school of a genetic disease, and it got referenced in the UN. It also got referenced in a Detriot paper too, that was kind of neat.
There's a project I'm doing that's been referenced in MSNBC, CBC, New York Times, ect. The Edmonton Journal and The Globe and Mail asked me for an interview, just setting a date for that. That's gonna be kind of neat, just one of those "... and what's happening in the community" things.
