I walk from bridgeland to the Nexen building and back every single day and almost daily I have to wait or jump back as cars just make their turns without looking. It gets tiring, and frustrating but there's no way I'm taking my chances with a car... I know I'm in the right, but like someone else said earlier it doesn't matter if I'm dead. I just make sure I always look twice and if a car doesn't look like it's going to stop, it probably wont. The worse is the folks who get stuck in the middle of the intersection when the light turns red... doesn't matter if I'm right in front of them half the time, they want to get through ASAP.
I moved here from the burbs thinking it would be great to be able to walk to work every day... with all of the stupid drivers on the road I'm thinking I might have to move back out because I'm scared of walking some days!
