He looked like a 45 year old man who missed training camp. Whatever injuries he accumulated while trying to get up to speed robbed him of the last step he couldn't afford to lose. If they'd signed him in July, I bet he would've played the full season.
I saw him play Chicago on New Year's Eve, and you could see him heading to the right places. Had he been two steps behind, it wouldn't have been a problem. But he was down three.
