Yes it is the thought that counts....but what's the worst gift you've ever received.

A couple come to mind for me:

- One Xmas there was a MASSIVE gift under the tree for me. HUGE. The anticipation as to what it could be killed me for days. When I opened it Xmas morning it was full of toilet paper. That's it. Nothing else. My mom for some reason thought this was a hilarious joke to play on her kid.

- A couple years back my sister gave me the 2004 Guiness Book of Records. Big hard covered monster of a thing. Garish. Not sure why she thought this would be of interest to me but so be it. However, the next year I received from her the 2005 Guiness Book of Records.

Now if you have the 2004 edition, I can assure you it does not change much in the year leading up to the 2005 edition. Brutal.
