But there were some sequences where Canucks had amazing scoring chances. In fact, I would rate the Canucks scoring chances in the 3rd to be of higher quality than those of the Flames, which is not reflected in the number of shots or any advanced stats.
That has to be cleaned up or they will be givng up a lot of goals still, even if they dominate play.

Actually the advanced stats said exactly the same, matching your eye test.
Third period five on five scoring chances 5-3 Vancouver, high danger chances 3-2 Vancouver.
In all situations the Flames were ahead, but five on five the Canucks had the better of the chances.
