Daniels and Redmond are a pretty polarizing crew. I'm on the side that doesn't like them. Daniels tries way to hard to force his catchphrases into highlights (the words "It's a Datsyukian deke that's a beauty" should never have been uttered once, much less a handful of times) and is sometimes behind the flow of play when it's moving quickly. I find Redmond just sounds like an octogenarian who's generally amazed by everything and usually doesn't add much to the play that isn't obvious to anyone watching, though once in a while he does have an insight.
For example, this is one of Datsyuk's greatest goals and he completely flubbed it as it was happening and then tried to make it about his catchphrases once it was in.
