I don't blame Smith on any of these goals. First one, yeah, you let a skill guy take a free shot from 10 feet away, that's a goal. Second, perhaps it could've been stopped, but it's still a 2 on 1 that should never happen - at best, Smith isn't primarily responsible for that. Third and fourth goals essentially unsavable.
I don't even know who to point to as a whipping boy here, the whole team looks out of sync... or rather they did outside of about 8 minutes in that period where they were completely dominant. Which, totally by coincidence I'm sure, was the same 8 minutes where we got "pissed off Johnny" after getting hit by Virtanen and activating God mode. If he did that all the time he'd win the Hart.
