I was at the Pantom Power concert when they were in Sydney, and I can honestly say that "At The Hundredth Meridian" is the best song I've ever seen live. The song, the crowd, the lighting was 100% perfect. That song solidified me as a Hip fan (thought they were ok before the concert)
Ya, Hundredth Meridian live is fantastic. When I seen the Hip at the Jube in Calgary two years ago Gord Downie went into a huge rant right in the middle, I mean I have no idea what he was saying but it was great. Improved lyrics then wham two minutes later.. ".. if I die of vanity promise me promise me" [/b][/quote]
man it was that verse that made me a huge hip fan

like you said Downie was just rambling like he does, then all but one blue light goes on him as he raises his right knee in the air, the band stops playing, and "if I die of vanity promise me promise me...." when it kicks back into "at the hundredth meridan" the band kicked back in in high gear, and when he sang "at" all the lights shown into the crowd in yellow BLINDING everyone in the audience.

was amazing
