Like Chief27 mentioned, Bennett's low-usage had mostly to do with how much time the Flames spent on the powerplay, combined with Bennett's new role on the PK this season. He and Jankowski looked really good there in the preseason, and I suspect that he will come to be appreciated for what he does here before too long.
In short, no. The team should not scratch one of its main penalty killers essentially for spending most of his time on the team bench in the last game.
