The only reason I say that is because Disney once balked at giving even a fraction of that to some of their executives (granted thats a much bigger pie) as compensation, but still.

It wouldn't have been Disney's deal, it would have been inherited from Marvel.
RDJ basically worked on Iron Man for free and after it was a gigantic success he renegotiated to include some back-end of the some part of the whole franchise. That's pretty well-known. What's not known is exactly how much of which projects he gets. All Marvel? Just ones that include an Avengers plotline? Regardless, he's made a stink ton of money. And can basically do whatever project he wants. If The Avengers kill him off, all the more he can hold out for to come back in 15 years for a reunion.
