That’s a really uninformed excuse. You think gudbranson is some ahl filler? He’s one of their top 4’s. You don’t even need pro scouting to know he’s going to be in the lineup.
Also you reference the Hartley brawl. You know what happens after that? The team forged an identity and cohesiveness that carried into the next season leading to the playoffs. That team was. It scared of team or situation and played way above their potential all because they had guys like McGrattan (that year) and Engelland and yes Bollig the next.
