If by "walks into" you mean dominates training camp and the pre-season
At some point Bennett will get ice time, he needs to prove something. Guy will be playing against 3rd and 4th lines, if he is half as good as you think he should be dominating out there. Also, a 7 pp game is rare and I suspect more ice time next game for Bennett and his line mates.
