Not to get too cynical, because there is definite value to having someone initiate and drive support towards these causes, but I'd be curious to know much of the Flames Foundation money is made up from individuals who just donate to it, and how much it is from the Flames themselves. I don't think it makes a lick of difference. Your assuming if they are only doing the fund raising, that the funds they raised would have been donated to causes if the flames weren't fund raising. At the end of the day, regardless of where the dollar bills actually come from, there are some kids out there that are benefiting from getting that money. That's the only thing that matters, in my opinion at least.
