Wow! it sure looks like a "1 of these things is not like the other" article. But, I guess we will see. Definitely different approaches taken by these 3 teams.
Winnipeg - deep at every position with a couple great but mostly good players
Toronto - Deep at forward with a number of "superstars" and good support players, but defense is pretty weak. Tender looked good last year, they will need that to continue.
Oilers - 1 superstar and a couple other good players with very little supporting forward depth and pretty dodgy defense based on hope and bandaids, and a goalie that they really need a bounce back year from.
I guess we will see which philosophy wins out in the end
