Looks like Star Wars: Resistance is set 6 months before TFA, debuts with a hour long episode this Sunday, October 7th on Disney.

I will admit so far it hasn't really peaked my interest, but it's still Star Wars Canon material so I will watch the first episode then make my judgement. So far it's being called a lot more light hearted than what we've seen in Clone Wars or Rebels.
