Recently saw this as well. I really liked the first 30 minutes or so. I thought they did a great job of showing what is was like for a conquered and poor community to exist under the Empire.

The movie really lost me at the train scene. It seemed to go on forever and was just a CGI mess.

I agree a lot with what others are saying. The tone of this movie just really wasn't for anyone. Children aren't going to like it. The adults and hardcore fans are going to be lost by all the corny jokes and over the top CGI pieces. I really thought Disney was on the right track with Rogue One and TFA, but then chose to deviate from that path for some reason.

Overall, I'd say this movie was pretty meh. Nowhere near Rogue One, but not as fundamentally flawed as a film as TLJ.
