Price is a no-go and Bobrovsky is likely a pipe dream, just like you said. Rinne might not be a bad gamble depending on the cost, even as a Cujo-type veteran backup if the Flames can fit his pro-rated cap hit into their salary structure at the TD.

The ONLY conditions under which I would consider a trade for Rinne is in the event that Smith is injured. I have said it a few times now, but I expect Rittich and Gillies both to be better this year. Given their track record it is not an unreasonable expectation.
