Can't see the feds cracking down on them finally now that the product is legalized. They left them alone during prohibition, so to finally crack down for marginal tax revenue would seem odd after ignoring criminal activity for so long...

Here's the problem with that argument.
The Feds have ignored them because they were breaking a law that was coming off the books in relatively short order.
Once legalization starts, the law they are breaking, ie tax evasion and selling without a license are here to stay. So slightly different situation.
If they don't shut down mail order without a license, then they are basically saying the licensing system in place is meaningless. They can't do that, so they'll have to clamp down on the mail order stuff.
