I have to agree with others who mentioned the meeting McDavid part is what likely got the automatic no. Not sure if it would change things or not but Id imagine if it was phrased in a way like "Id drop it off anywhere you wanted" that you might have better luck. Offer to drop it off to someone at the hotel, before practice, before or after the game. I guess Id just make it as easy as possible. Maybe you could even offer to mail it to them.

Edit: i guess not. The Oilers are just classless.
