the estimate of yours I saw with those numbers was the math for every citizen of the city. there isn't a million taxpayers in Calgary.
but lets say it's correct. asking me to pay an extra $600 per year for my family of four for an Olympics is disgusting, with everything else that is underfunded.
that's a lot of money, especially for families where they don't have a lot to begin with.
