First I think you should be commended for this. It can be a pretty hard topic to say the least and I think it shows how much you care about your sister.
First off I would suggest contacting someone about this to discuss your concerns and to direct you to who can potentially help if needed/desired. In this regard one place you could start with is 211 Alberta -
http://www.ab.211.ca . They are an information and referral source (I think the United way and/or distress centre are involved?), and can help you start the process. You can pick up your phone and dial 2-1-1 I believe and you should be connected with someone to help.
Second, it can be overwhelming, so don't forget to take care of yourself - talking to someone can help in this regard. So I also suggest giving a place like the Distress Centre a call (or 211 can suggest alternatives) for you, if needed, if you wanted to talk to someone. You don't have to be in a crisis yourself; even if you just want someone just to "talk to" feel free to give them a call.
And otherwise, I agree with some others in here, I'm surprised by some of the posts from people about this.
