It’s adidas. And it’s money. If the jersey sucks I would expect adidas to demand a mulligan.

Honestly, the flames, nhl, and adidas should want as many flames merchandise items sold as possible. So, why not bring out a different third every season? Footie has no qualms about issuing 3 brand new uniforms every season, plus practice gear and leisure wear. So it can be done. Some teams even offer a 4th and even pure retros that are not intended to be worn in a match. Isn’t choice what we really want?
