I can't think of a single goaltender who has improved under his tutelage, and most of the goaltenders we've had since he took the position have had their career worst seasons under his guidance (with pre-injury Smith being the only possible exception). There seems to be a systemic thing about always going down early, no matter what the situation on the ice is.
Frankly, I was shocked they retained him when they purged the rest of the coaching staff, I've been calling for his ouster for two years for ruining every goaltender who comes to town (not that the Flames' management have any reason to listen to me).
