I'm a Poli.Sci major, but I know lots of people who are in the joint BA/B.Ed. program where you get a degree in English and Education.

Ha ha ha! You know it!

I actually went to the UofR one summer as a visiting student and the Poli Sci department was fantastic! I remember I walked into the class and the prof was wearing a Pink Floyd T-shirt and had long hair tied back into a pony tail. This is unheard of at UofC, and the guy was everything that a poli sci prof should be. Bernie Gruell was his name and he is my all-time favourite prof. Great guy, bought the entire class pizza and beer on the last day (also unheard of at UofC) and seemed to have unlimited knowledge of anything related to politics. Fantastic class!

When I was in high school I was choosen to go to a conference, in which I shall not name for fear of losing any kind of coolness cred. (cough cough model UN cough cough) with Shreesh Juyal from the Poli Sci department. Also a very, very smart dude.

In my very humble opinion, the UofR's poli sci department is superior in many ways to that of the UofC... but, that isn't saying much...
