Poli Sci at UofC blows. All around the country, UofC's poli sci department is known as the most biased, un-balanced crap-ass poli sci faculty on the planet.

Pent-up frustration... please excuse me.

I actually started taking classed at MRC three years into my degree at the UofC to try and get a different perspective on things. In a lot of ways, I prefer MRC, except for when it comes to "degree" vs "diploma" (not that there is anything wrong with a diploma at all).

UofC will be quite different from your experiences at MRC, the gym is not nearly as good at the UofC which is surprising considering that Kinesiology is a main attraction to the University. The library is 1000 times better though, and the Den puts the Liberty Lounge to shame. Expect the class sizes to be at least 5 times bigger (I am not exaggerating) and the profs will not know your name, you are just a number, that's it.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that take as many classes as you can at MRC, you will get better marks in them and most of them transfer over perfectly. I would always take at least one class a semester at MRC, mostly for the benefits of using the gym, a place to study where not as many people knew me, and funding for school-related excursions.
