To your second point, you had 35 year-old, 5'5" Darren Sproles playing last night. Baker Mayfield just got taken first overall. Drew Brees is a Hall of Fame quarterback. If you're good enough to play in the NFL, your size doesn't matter.
Not really. I grew up on the CFL and was a big CFL fan for a long time, long before I became an NFL fan. When I started to get more into the NFL and understand the game better, I pretty quickly grew disenchanted with the CFL.

NFL is obsessed with measurables like size. It's why Russell Wilson inexplicably slipped to the 3rd round. A lot of scouts considered Mayfield's height a detriment as remember he wasn't the top ranked QB. Size matters or Flutie wouldn't have been exiled to the CFL for half his career. The small NFL players are the exception not the norm and you listed offensive players. There's little if any room for undersized players on NFL defenses.
You being disenchanted with the CFL game is simply your personal feelings and not an indictment on the CFL game itself. I've been watching both leagues since I was 11 years old and I have managed to love both leagues for what they are. Different strokes for different folks but then again I've always been a guy that has never felt I had to side with any particular brand as I buy all the Sony and Microsoft consoles, owned 3/4 of all car brands, have voted Liberal and CP, drink Coke and Pepsi, etc. If I was single I may even consider an android phone but with my family entrenched in Apple it's just not a prudent decision. Bottom line is that I don't think liking the NFL means you have to look down on the CFL as it's a good brand of football.
