Some merit to that but a lot of ex-NFL guys crash and burn in the CFL. Also I don't necessarily agree about less skill. CFL gets a lot of very skilled college players that are undersized for the NFL. There's no doubt a lot of the Canadian University players are lesser skilled and probably holds the league back but I don't think the ratio is going anywhere. CFL is older than the NFL and a lot of it's rules were in place prior to the NFL. I think you like many are simply conditioned to the NFL's rules more.
