CPG's new boss announced he's going to wack 17% of their people. The rest of Canada shrugs or actively cheers.
As someone who's generally drifted back and forth between the two major federal parties, and probably identifies most as a "red tory" It's becoming difficult to not be very angry at Alberta and Saskatchewan's position in confederation. The political backflips being done to save "family dairy farms" in Eastern Canada while auto manufacturers and Quebec industries bear no burdens to account for the downstream emissions of their industries does not square very well with the state of political interference in the energy sector.
I just have no idea where we go from here. So discouraging.
