The problem wasn't Jankowski or Bennett. The problem with the plow horse on the other wing. You don't throw a couple young guys under the bus because of less than a season, especially when the depth on the team was a problem. Also, the players acquired are right shooters, and they were obviously picked up with specific slots in mind. I wouldn't be surprised to see them deployed on the right side, and then take draws on their strong side when needed.
I agree with Treliving. On paper this is the most depth since the early 90s. This is a team to be excited about. Let's just hope his coaching selection is the right one to bring this crew together and become a dominant team. Drop the puck!
