The only way they look at acquiring a backup goalie after training camp is:
a) management doesn't like what they see in camp
b) injury
c) a young goaltender that they believe has #1 starter potential in the next year or two becomes available

How much trust do they have if a bad camp is enough to make a trade for a goalie? I suspect Treliving has his finger on the trigger of a goalie trade at all times but is hoping the current situation will work for this year at least.
